Richard Gassert - Chiropractor

Originally from Cape Town, Richard graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth in 1999 following five years' full-time study. After completing a series of locum duties in the south of England, he worked as an associate sole practitioner in Melrose in the Scottish Borders for three years, followed by a further seven years' practise in  Haymarket, Edinburgh.

With over ten thousand hours'  post graduate experience (and counting...), Richard offers a hands-on, compassionate and practical service helping address and overcome bodily dysfunction and pain in the quest for better health.

Special interests include posture, practical fitness and movement therapy, ergonomics, sports science, repetitive strain syndromes and in particular the treatment and rehabilitation of chronic (long term) conditions with recurrent exacerbations.

Acupuncture

We are delighted to provide the Edinburgh base for Pascal Da Silva (Member of the British Acupuncture Council) of Ecosse Acupuncture. Pascal's clinic hours here are on Fridays (10am - 8pm) and Saturdays (10am - 6pm). Please note that Pascal works independently within the Clinic and appointments can be booked through him directly on 0798 2742 177.

Location

The clinic is situated at 43 Bruntsfield Place, opposite the north west edge of Bruntsfield Links.

 Parking

There is an abundance of on-street  parking adjacent to the clinic, charged at £1 per hour.

Please be advised, however, that on the clinic (West / northbound) side of Bruntsfield Place, no parking is allowed between the hours of 0730 - 0930 and 1600 - 1830  to allow for the smooth flow of peak-time buses. Outwith these restrictions, there is a time limit of one hour.

On the Links (East / southbound) side of the road, one may park for up to 2 hours within the allocated times.

 

Buses

This area is served by bus routes 11, 15, 16, 23  and 45

The southbound bus stop is directly opposite the clinic at the beginning of Bruntsfield Links.

The northbound bus stop is about 40 yards down the hill (towards the city) on the clinic side of the road.
